The Stanley and Lorraine Olson Heritage Society honors alumni, faculty, grateful patients and friends who have generously supported Northeast Ohio Medical University with a planned gift. Such gifts include bequests, appreciated securities, retirement plans, life insurance, real estate and charitable trusts.

In naming NEOMED’s planned giving society after Dr. and Mrs. Olson, we pay tribute to their memory and recognize Dr. Olson’s great impact on the University. Thanks to Dr. Olson’s vision, the original mission of NEOMED continues today. Dr. Olson served as NEOMED’s first chief executive officer and provost. In addition, he oversaw the creation of a new medical education campus, welcomed the charter class in 1977 and created the NEOMED Foundation in 1978.
